Individual therapy can be booked for in-person sessions for individuals living in Edmonton and area or online sessions for individuals living in Alberta.

We offer the direct billing to various insurance providers. Please note, that it is your responsibility to confirm your coverage with your insurance provider in advance. For Registered Provisional Psychologists, partial and full coverage may be offered through your insurance provider. If your insurance coverage includes a health spending or wellness account, you may be able to submit claims for therapy fees. A receipt will be provided to you upon payment of your scheduled appointment. This receipt can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.

It is important to seek out psychological help if you are experiencing flashbacks to the accidents or the events that took place after, sleeplessness, powerlessness, inability to move forward, chronic pain, fear of driving or being in a vehicle, nightmares, grief, substance use, depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide, or avoiding people, places or events that might remind you of the accident.

Our psychologists can support you by addressing these symptoms by providing treatment and psychological interventions including EMDR, ACT, CBT and somatic therapy to help decrease symptoms of trauma and PTSD.

From a young age, I have always found a sense of purpose in her will to help others around me. My compassion and concern for others has led her to pursue a career in the mental health field and to obtain the education and credentials necessary to provide individuals with a safe environment as they navigate through any adversity they may be facing.

I have a keen interest in working with and supporting women who are making their transitions into motherhood. This includes perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infertility, birth trauma, identity, grief and loss, intimacy and relationships.

My other specialties include working with individuals impacted by sexual violence and trauma, motor vehicle accidents, childhood abuse, couples and grief and loss. I also supports folks faced with intergenerational trauma, racial trauma, cultural identity, and newcomer/immigrant mental health – the unique challenges that individuals within BIPOC communities face.

I believe that all humans endure happiness and suffering throughout their life. Life tends to put individuals through many different experiences over time. We experience love, happiness, joy, grief, loss and much more throughout our journey. I believe that it is important to accept these experiences and create meaning in life through what we endure.
