PLEASE NOTE:

If this is your first time booking an appointment at TheraPlace PW, please ensure to book an “Intake Appointment”. This appointment can be booked online for Alberta-wide clients.

To book an appointment, you will need to create a JaneApp profile.

If you are booking for a couples session, please ensure that the names of all individuals attending is included in the booking.

Please be sure to complete all “Intake Forms” and “Client Consent, Information and Rights” forms prior to your appointment. If you have any questions about these forms, you can ask your provider during your first session.

We require a credit card on file for all appointments.

We offer sliding scale appointments. Please note that if your require a sliding scale option, this will be discussed as part of your first session.

Cancellation Policy

You will be prompted to add a credit card when booking your session. We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. The full appointment fee cost will be applied for late cancellations or missed appointments.

We offer the direct billing to various insurance providers. Please note, that it is your responsibility to confirm your coverage with your insurance provider in advance. For Registered Provisional Psychologists, partial and full coverage may be offered through your insurance provider. If your insurance coverage includes a health spending or wellness account, you may be able to submit claims for therapy fees. A receipt will be provided to you upon payment of your scheduled appointment. This receipt can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.

It is important to seek out psychological help if you are experiencing flashbacks to the accidents or the events that took place after, sleeplessness, powerlessness, inability to move forward, chronic pain, fear of driving or being in a vehicle, nightmares, grief, substance use, depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide, or avoiding people, places or events that might remind you of the accident.

Our psychologists can support you by addressing these symptoms by providing treatment and psychological interventions including EMDR, ACT, CBT and somatic therapy to help decrease symptoms of trauma and PTSD.

15 Minute Consultation Call

Book your free 15-minute consultation call. This call is an opportunity for clients to learn more about our areas of expertise and modalities used for the therapeutic process.

I approach therapy with a client-centered perspective, emphasizing understanding and empathy and tailor interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. ​ As a therapist, the modalities I align with include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Ego States/Parts Work, and Mindfulness-Based Therapies. Additionally, I integrate expressive writing techniques to help clients reframe narratives.

I have a keen interest in working with individuals impacted by addictions (substance and behavioral), anxiety, interpersonal issues, stress management, chronic pain, traumatic experiences, and creative struggles​

Hello! I am so glad that you’re here. I provide individuals with a safe environment as they navigate through adversity they may be facing. My specialties include working with people who have been impacted by sexual violence, complex trauma, motor vehicle accidents, and childhood attachment injuries. I also support women who are making their transitions into motherhood. This includes perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, birth trauma, intimacy, identity, grief and loss.

I believe that all humans endure happiness and suffering throughout their life. We experience love, happiness, joy, grief, loss and much more throughout our journey.
